    Shepard did what the Illusive Man couldn't, he gained control of the Reapers not only to end the Cycle but to preserve organic life. When a civilization creates the next synthetic threat he and the Reapers will be there to stop it. Until then he will watch over the ones he loves and wait.

    Even though he had to give up his life with Liara and everyone else who was important to him. He will remain forever in the heart of the Citadel his new home, and direct the Reapers to rebuild the Mass Relays and the destroyed worlds. And the tale of the Shepard will be passed through the ages.

    Nope look it up! You'll need to be sure that Salarian Captain on Virmire lived and don't talk to Thane at a certain time in ME3 and the Salarian Captain will be the one to go!

    You've been misinformed. It is not possible to save Thane, accept by never recruiting Thane in the first place which doesn't really count
