    Personally that is when the fun stops for me. Luckily I grew up during the NES generation so I am used to challenging games. Yet at a certain point some old school games cross the line into what feels unfair or cheap. When I hit to much of a brick wall with a game I just have to put it down to preserve my sanity.

    What's the strategy here, Redmin? These exploding tanks continue beyond the border of the screen, where you cannot physically do anything to destroy them because you're sliding to escape the destruction behind you. Seriously, what are you supposed to do here?

    In some cases, use a weapon that shoots upward, then make sure you have room to jump. I had the same problem you had as well. I've had to fully play the game til I got it down. try not to destroy all missles as some you need to cross. let me know if that helps you pat. Good luck if you haven't completed it yet.

    Thanks, man. I'm jumping back in after a long hiatus, and I'm right near the end of Wily's castle (I think), so I don't even remember anymore what most of the weapons are. I'll have to reacquaint myself with them. I just went through the same situation with MM4 and 5 for the NES.

    At first, I thought it was a cutscene, so I just sat back and, to my suprise, whatched Mega Man die. ;( After that, I did it, no joke, without dying. I find the classic Mega Man series to be easy, because I actualy started on the very first one. Mega Man Legends is better. :[
