Sakurai, did you say that Temple was a prototypical large stage? Like as in a beta element stage? You mean that Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl was suppose to have EIGHT players before but got removed in the final version?

Never really liked Temple. It's pretty plain. Hope to see New Pork City as DLC at some point.

Also have to add how fantastic it is to have a Fierce Diety costume for Link. Since I've been wanting something really cool like that for him. Finally glad we got something like that.

I like Temple. Fun fact: people call it Hyrule Temple because in Melee, the stage was shown as Temple, with the location as Hyrule, so people thought it was Hyrule Temple. Also, Temple = already banned in tournaments. Reason? TOO BIG. Now with 8-Player Smash, will tournaments allow it?

actually the 3ds version couts as the fourth smash bros and the fifth is the wii u version because they are not similar, it says it in the wiki i read about it, so that means the next SSB games will be the 6th if it's on 3DS and the 7th will be on the wii u, but that's only if you don't count both versions as the fourth super smash bros.

I think they made temple slightly bigger ._.

And yes, I was really hoping for a retro Zelda stage based on A Link to the Past... or even the NES Zelda. Why have there never been stages based on these games? Having a Light and Dark World mechanic would be amazing.

so l deciphered the (they used the writing system in the era without a hero in the hyrule historia) and it translates "su-ma-tsu-shi ▲ bu-ra-ba-zu, which l bet is japanese, l'll let u guys know if l discover anything.
