While it's nearly impossible to imagine what precisely is in store for May 2015, we can always engage in some lively speculation. What themes do you think will appear in the next DLC update? Another icy paradise? Personally I have an affinity for desert courses, so maybe one of those will show up. How about a library-themed track? Or a hedge maze? And how about retro tracks? Share your thoughts!

  • I've actually only played New Leaf... XD But I just though of features from New Leaf that I think would be cool in the racetrack. Although, you'll probably just drive around a town several times. But I think exploring different places in New Leaf would be cool. And, well, probably not in the New Leaf Cup, but maybe some in the Super Bell Cup.

  • I think an Animal Crossing track is inevitable.

  • But do you think the Animal Crossing track will take place in the village or in the museum, Molemitts? Or somewhere else?

  • My 5 top tracks to return: 1. GCN Wario Colosseum (defines anti-gravity purposes) 2. GBA Ribbon Road (not a big fan of MK: Super Circuit, but they're rarely any tracks remade from that game, and it's personally my favorite for GBA) 3. Wii Moonview Highway 4. GCN Bowser's Castle 5. GBA Cheese Land Honorable Mentions: Wii Toad's Factory, GBA Riverside Park, 3DS Maka Wuhu (w/o that glitch)...

  • My top 5 tracks that were already remade: 1. DS Waluigi Pinball (I would kill to see an HD remake for this track.) 2. GCN DK Mountain (my favorite in Double Dash) 3. DS Airship Fortress 4. GCN Baby Park (imagine how chaotic that track would be, considering how shells are more dangerous and how the item system stinks) 5. N64 Bowser Castle Honorable Mentions: Wii Maple Treeway, Wii Coconut Mall...

  • The Animal Crossing track could go through various features in the village, like the museum, the train station, Main Street, or even the river that goes through the village!

  • Ben, you've got some great picks! I, too, really want to see a Waluigi Pinball remake. My little sister let me play that course on her DS, and it was a lot of fun! Haven't played any of the other DS courses though, or at least I don't think I have. I loved Koopa Cape, and hopefully they can keep Coconut Mall far from the Wii U! Haha

  • what if Mario kart 7's rainbow road returned?

  • I don't think the forest track will be an updated maple treeway. I think it'll be a track based on that gigantic (and popular) forest maze from super mario RPG! And it better be, because that would be a pretty darn cool track!!!

  • Oh, Maybe the city track you talked about earlier could have you jumping on trains! And riding down a building! THAT would be cool, there is a strong chance blitz.

  • A bullet train course would be super exciting & a very good prediction for something Japan-centric if Nintendo wanted to go that route. Thanks, Copper! Any thoughts on this idea from the rest of the community?
