    【戯れ言】 天の川は売るほど見てきたけど鹿児島県屋久島宮之浦岳山頂で見たそれは別格でした。文字通り白いペンキで塗りたくったようなその姿は今まで見てきた天の川とは全然違い、初めて見る姿に怖さすら覚えたものです。 ところでちょっと電波な話に聞こえるかも知れませんが、星空を立体的に、奥行きを感じて見ることができると、自分が平べったい銀河の円盤の中にいることが実感としてよーくわかります。 夏は銀河の中心（射手座付近）がよく見える季節です。夏の旅行で天の川の見える所へ行くことがあったら銀河の円盤を意識して星空を眺めてみませんか。

    【天の川の見える仕組み】 この黄色い線の外の星は人間がひとつの星として認識できなくなり、しかも銀河が球体でなく円盤状だから、空を流れる一筋の白い川に見えるのです。夏のさそり座、冬のオリオン座、形作ってる星はこの黄色い線の内側のごく近い星々に過ぎません。
