    It will take place about 100 years after the events of links awakening.After zelda 2 and zelda 1 in the decline era.It says that link has been sleeping for 100 years so maybe when link crashed in Links awakening something happened. it is the same link from alttp in botw.he looks the and thats is why he can just go out there and be a hero with no questions. And the voice says we need you AGAIN
