    There is a reason for this: Tomorrow is the first day of Tanabata (七夕, literally, "Evening of the Seventh"). It represents the one day a year that the Milky Way does not separate the dieties Orihime and Hikoboshi. Tanabata, which is sometimes referred to as the Star Festival, traditionally features a Jirachi distribution in Japan.
