    I had an incident at soccer practice that reminds me of what you mention here. One of our players was refusing to complete the drills, and our coach started making the team sprint more. (We had done about twenty already.) Suddenly, Coach stopped the sprints and made us run the box. (Slightly better, but still hard.) And the disruptive player refused to run.

    This is when the team's quietest, most highly introverted player projected the voice she had been training for two years across the field and screamed at that lazy player to start running. Coach made us stop running. One of our offensive captains said, "it's always the quiet ones." Even so, my coach said I did the right thing. So, watch the quiet ones. For they will roar in their own time.
