    My favorite starters are Totodile,Oshawott,Charmander, and Treecko.I do like Squirtle but it wouldn't be my first choice.My first actual starter was in Leaf Green and it was ironically a Squirtle named Misty(Not named after the gym leader).Totodile is my ABSOLUTE favorite starter because it evolves into a seven foot tall,blue monster of bone crushing destruction......I'll leave now... -Walks away-

    (That was the first catch of Pokémon Go for me.A Squirtle I named Walter.)I prefer Cyndaquil.Why?Because it's the most adorable starter!Plus,once it evolves into Typhlosion.It creates feiry explosions and can set ANYTHING it touches on fire!(Provided it's absolutely angry)I'm getting FireRed and an original Nintendo DS.I'm picking either Squirtle or Charmander.In favorites,Snivy,Cyndaquil,either-
