Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven

I finished the game not long after it came out, but i don't remember this thing too much. I know this game is about items and skills rather than equipment, and yet this sword has me on edge. Is it just for show or do you get it after a certain point? Random sword in the oven of a rundown inn?
