Now, I know that Undertale isn't a ripoff of EarthBound, but whenever someone tries to explain that it isn't by saying "Toby worked on EarthBound too!!!" I just laugh because that isn't true in the slightest. In addition, it is possible for creators to rip off their own work. TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga is a good example of this.
