    Your data files must of been corrupted. it happens when you take out the SD Card. (Source: it happened to me once)

    No problem, but there might be a slight chance you could of pressed A + B + X + Y simultaneously after starting the game and that is a way to reset the sava data. Also additional data such as ghosts are saved to the SD card.
