I think we should have a good 2d / 3d Sonic game that make's players feel like there playing an older and better Sonic tittle.

    Personally, a sequel to Colors, or a spiritual succesor, (which mixed 2d and 3d) Is the series best bet, as its most critically acalaimed games are like that, including lost world and generations and colors.

    But I would not ever, ever, try a game that tries to be an "OLDER, BETTER" sonic game as the older ones are half the time, poop. Like sonic cd and sonic 2.

    Keep in mind that that was 5 years ago. Since then we've gotten Lost World and Boom. Plus there were a few games the first Generations missed like Sonic CD or Sonic the Hedgehog 4. As for the plot. Haven't thought that through other than the return of Time Eater.

    Actually, there was another plot I came up with. Let's say the 3 Eggman's (Classic, Modern, and Boom.) are still in their separate universe but made a invention at the same time. Then when the 3 Sonic's destroy it, it sends them to the white world from the first Generations where they have to team up. That's all I got so far for a plot.

    3D Sonic, Make th story on par with Unleashed, The gameplay crossed with Sonic Adventure 1 & Generations, Tails & Knuckles are playable & Shadow is unlockable bonus. (No Wisps or Zeti.) 2D Sonic: Make it sprite based. (2.5D is to floaty. Sonic 4 episode 1 for example) Tails, Knuckle, Amy & Cream are all playable. Have more original levels mixed with nostalgia. Basically, Make Sonic Advance 4
