you need to explore more chambers in there and you will get the boomerang via a chest, once you complete J-Js Belly, you head back to hyrule castle with the three pendants and watch it all unfold...

one of the upper ones that isn't blocked, you need to drop a box ona blue block i think, it has enemies inside that you need to defeat to generate the chest
