    On the Home there is a little picture of a footprint and a coin at the top. When it's in sleep mode, you can walk (or shake) it to get Play Coins. 100 steps is 1 coin, and you can get up to 10 coins a day, and a total of 200 coins at a time. They can be used in a lot of games.
