  • Nintendo just keeps making themselves newsworthy. My wife just came home and told me about the mini nes. Shes been at work

    Yeahs2
  • Prepping for that nX

    Yeahs2
  • nintendo is trying to get people to play real games, not the c**p today. lol im buyin it. thats news to me

    Yeahs1
  • Final fantasy will be on this thing before it hits the NA VC on Wii U smh

    Yeahs2
  • 30 games for $60? You got a deal.

    Yeahs2
  • Call it a cash grab and yes I already have most of those games on VC but I don't care, I want this!!!!!

    Yeahs0
  • Yeah its wierd man. I think they are trying to get the old gamers back the ones they had on wii and lost with wiiu. It will probably be loaded with nx info lol

    Yeahs2
  • I feel like the Wii was better with casual gamers whereas the Wii U seems to be more traditional gaming orientated, which has always been fine with me. I've been a gamer since before I could read.

  • As much as I'm happy for the NES Mini, I can't help but to feel that there's some missed opportunities with this. One of them mainly is the option to add more NES games onto the system, along with the 30 games that's already installed.

  • Nintendo isn't trying to just sell their ip for cheap. Without good cause. I think it's just to get nostalgic gamers back to Nintendo for NX hype. I don't think they will do more nes games.. Could be wrong but I don't see it

  • better doorstop, wii/u or heavy mettle?

    Yeahs0
  • However, one idea they should do with the NES Mini or VC is that they can sell the NES Zapper or the Nintendo Power Pad for Duck Hunt and Track and Field respectively, just like they're selling a separate NES controller that works with the VC. Track and Field would be offered as a free download, as long as you buy the Power Pad.

  • @Chervan Nintendolife reported that it does have a USB hook up, so there is a slim chance more games could be added. Really funny how Nintendo likes to tie games to physical objects, but the NES mini should be a portal to the VC with all the classics for purchase then they could release a SNES one later on.

  • Nah, it's been confirmed by Nintendo that it's impossible to add more games onto the NES Mini as of now, which is a shame. But I can understand why, because it would eat up the profits from the Wii/Wii U VC if people used the NES Mini to buy their games instead from the eShop.

  • I wish it had NES Tetris & I have quite a few of these games on original or VC, but even I find it tempting at that price. I think this, along with mobile, is a clever way for Nintendo to make holiday profits without wasting too much development talent and time needed for NX launch.

    Yeahs1
  • a mini SNES and a mini N64 would also be really cool, make it happen nintendo!!!!
