Why do people hate things because of their fandoms? Seems quite.. uhh... selfish in a way. Not liking something because of something else that involves it. Its like not liking tv because you dont like every single actor.

    I agree that fandoms can be offputting, but, like you said, why should people hate it because of it.

    I understand where you're coming from. I think a lot of people judge a franchise based on the attitude of its fandom, which is probably why.

    Why are you comparing fandoms to actors? Also if you didn't like every single actor then of course you wouldn't like tv, because most of tv is actors and why would you watch something you dislike? that was a terrible comparison.
