Looking for Opponent

Any GOOD Ike mains want to spar sometime? Iv been looking to improve my Ike further. Not today but another time.

1v1, Tourney legal stages, 2 stock 6 mins or 3 stock 8 minutes (doesnt matter to me) and obviously no items

    Hey ggs both, Ike dittos aren't exactly the most fun to play or any ditto for that matter, and unfortunately there was lag. Skippy I can maybe give you a bit of advice from what I saw with your gameplay if you want, whenever you get back on.

    @Stultus I don't main anyone , I sand bag majority of the times , because I barley play the game , also I mained Ike day one , although he did suck back then , but he's gud now , also nah I'm fabulous in my own self , so I'm gud.

    @Theddy: Oh, well uh, just to clear some things up, I am female. Don't worry, you're not the first on here to mistake me for the opposite gender. @Romano the Fire Dragon: Oh pls, if you were gud you'd main Ike. Since you do not main Ike, you are not gud. 'Tis the truth, I know this because *I* am gud, bcauz *I* main Ike.

    @Skippy: Mainly what I should mention is your recovery. With Ike you need to be as unpredictable as possible, and I'm sure you're aware of it but still, be careful on how you use QD. That aside, be extremely careful on the regulation of your double jumps. Pointless to say they're vital for Ike especially, and you should only use them off the edge when using mixups or if you absolutely MUST.

    @Skippy: I saw multiple times when you got KO'd by an uncareful recovery and an unnecessary djump. In addition, I should also mention that it's almost always best to recover onto the ledge instead of stage, because frankly, Ike's landing options suck, and once you've used your djump towards directly onstage, you're basically screwed if you're hit back off it. Also be wary of your usage of rush--

    --attack, although it can be a powerful launch move it's extremely risky if you miss, and it shouldn't generally be used for approach--unless if it's used as a mixup. Lol, I blame lag for any direct rush I was punished with (not John), but really though, there are better options, safer ones. Your spacing is pretty accurate though and you clearly understand the baiting game, so that's good.

    I didn't see you grab a whole bunch, and when you did I was almost always able to get out the combo. Grab for Ike is an extremely useful tool for him, because down and mostly upthrow can be used for true combos. You can rack up a hefty 20+ damage with them AND maintain stage control. You may have missed the true combos because of lag, but if that's not the case in other times I would strongly--

    suggest working with it. Oy, sometimes I miss the true combos because the DI is acting wierd, but that's why us Ikes have to be strong with reactions to DI and where the opponent's leaning to when we toss 'em up in the air. This is more just my opinion, but grabs and up/down throws should be used whenever possible with Ike. Those were the things I noticed with your gameplay, hope it helps :)

    @Alex: I suppose casual Falcon would be the only acception, but I hate the feeling of pressure with dittos, as it suggests who's better. @Krossjosh: Out of curiosity, who do you main? I've searched down this thread and I haven't seen any comment from you before. @Godzilla: If you want to have some dittos then that's great, but again I kind of hate them and do mostly for other's help.
