    That's a lovely tribute, but also really sad. I miss seeing his happy face on the Nintendo Directs, you could just tell he loved bringing joy to so many people. I could watch the guy all day :-) A legend.

    Definitely! Thing is, due to the fact that I'm playing games that were either in development or already released at the time of his passing, they keep hitting me with gut punches every time I see his name in the credits. It's just a constant reminder of all the projects he touched in one way or another.

    Yeah I can imagine that's tough. It always gives me a half-smile when I see his name on games, mainly fondness mixed with a touch of lament. It's a shame people are taken well before their time, especially when they've been so influential in our own lives.

    It's true, when I see his name there I guess I kinda smile inwardly too in a way that says "Yup, figures" after playing through a truly awesome game. Ultimately, they will be his legacy.

    It's gutting really. But it's reassuring that the positivity they imbue lives on in us. It's a privilege to have been a part of his journey. One of my favourie vids of Iwata was him trying to play Balloon Fight ... and he kept getting eaten by that freaky fish monster! He was in hysterics! ;-D
