Having never played a Star Fox game before, I'm glad I started here. Unlike most people, I actually quite liked the controls, the soundtrack was epic, the length was spot-on and it's full of replay value. My one complaint would be the abrupt difficulty spikes, which often seem to come out of nowhere. They sometimes made it a bit frustrating to play. But on the whole I really like this game a lot!

    Just thought it was too short and the story exactly like StarFox 64. But other than that, in my top three with StarFox 64 and StarFox Assault.

    That's why I'm glad this was my first experience, because I didn't have any knowledge of Star Fox 64 and went in totally fresh. You're right that it's short, but each level has lots of collectables and trophys to get, plus the bonus arcade mode. I'm pretty happy with the amount of content here, especially since I got it kinda cheap with Star Fox Guard.

    Incidentally, Star Fox Guard is likely to be one of the next few games I play. Looking forward to seeing how that fares.
