Anyone playing in 3d mode dont push the slider to the max as that wont make a better 3d effect. From the top push down slow until the character pops up from the background. Once that happens you will see its better. Hope that helps you all out.

  • Seems like small budget or rushed games always have this issue to some degree. Even Nintendo games have issues, as FE Echoes has health bars in front of the map icons on max 3d. Really glad the slider is there, as I play every 3ds game in 3d. Thanks for the heads up!

  • The gameplay isn't turn based, I'm sure, but in River City Remake I barely held on to weapons (I'd throw, then pick back up, rinse, repeat). Is this game fairly similar gameplay-wise? It doesn't seem to fit with RPG, but I'd love if it played like I can imagine it. No videos on eShop & I don't need another game I won't play. Any explaination on gameplay (how it's claiming RPG) is appreciated. THX!

  • @twztid13 This game plays similar to every other beat em' up genre Kunio/River City game. Also, keep in mind that most beat em' up genre Kunio/River City games like River City Ransom, and River City: Tokyo Rumble are already RPGs. Your stats are upgradable, you can buy items and equip gear, you learn new special moves gradually, and some games in the series even have the ability to level up.

  • What James said is correct. As for the weapon throwing, yeah same as you know. At first I was confused throwing the weapon all the time but figure dash & att for greater dam. Later I found out I could att & keep the weapon in hand lol.

  • @james Sorry, the features you mentioned, do not an RPG make, IMHO (tho I'm old). It's action-RPG-esqe, maybe? Games DO borrow those features from traditional RPG's to widen their audience & they are better for it, don't get me wrong, but they're not RPG's w/o some sort of qualifying, hyphenated subgenre. Since I've yet to finish the last 3ds RCR game, I'll wait for a sale. Thanks for the info, guys

  • This game being closer to a sequel with a unique setting was what I expected. The description makes it sound like it's something that turns the River City world & gameplay on it's head, for a completely unique experience... kinda like a Fire Emblem Warriors, for lack of a better example, w/ the chars thrown into a new world w/ gameplay new to the series, etc. Is 'no gameplay vids' calculated?
