Question

What are the Odds

Does any one know when you do the shiny swap method with magikarp what are the odds that magikarp will be shiny are they just normal odds because i tried it and around 20 eggs or was i just lucky

Odds are still the same as normal 1/4096 normally 1/1365 with the shiny charm 1/683 with the Masuda Method 1/512 with the Shiny Charm and Method Shiny Swapping doesn't increase odds at all, but it allows you to hatch eggs much quicker, since Magikarp has one of the lowest hatch times of all pokemon. Plus it also helps predict IV inheritance, ability inheritance, and gender of the swapped in shiny

the last time I did shiny swapping I hatched a shiny magikarp on my 16th egg...but when I switched pokemon I forgot to save,so now whenever I try to shiny swap now I never,EVER get one T^T
