    I'm not sure what you mean by 'worthy', but this is a pretty fun action/adventure game. If you like 2D Metroid or Castlevania games, you might like this. It has a lot of jokes and a, fun, cartoon style to the world and character design. If that sounds good to you, think about getting it.

    Well, if you like platforming action with a bit of exploration and the occasional backtracking to find stuff you couldn't reach before, along with a light, humorous plot, then you might like this game.

    I honestly recommend playing some of the older games in the series as they are on STEAM for way cheaper then physical copies as some of the jokes can hard to get otherwise but Metroidvania describes this game well enough.

    Actually, the first game is currently only available as a 3DS virtual console title. The second game, Risky's Revenge, which is this one's immediate predecessor, is available on pretty much any system you'd like. Shop around if you're concerned about price, but it's a fun game, regardless. The steam version is only cheaper when it is on sale, otherwise they're all the same.
