What was your first kunio experience? River city for NES, or maybe one of the great japan only titles? Maybe you just want to discuss the current game. Simple nostalgic conversation.

    I actually dug in many years after the first game, having only heard about it in some rare instances. Also heard of it after finding it shares initials with Retro City Rampage! Once I got up the will to try it out for myself, I became an instant fan of the series! First one I played is actually the first Western release. My most recent ones are RCR: Underground, and Tokyo Rumble! All good!

    Yessss good to read, and I never noticed the shared name before. I've yet to play Tokyo Rumble, still nice to know and see this classic series has not been lost with time.

    I was never very familiar with this series but i do see it's appeal. Played the Nes original only recently and that's pretty much it. I guess since alot of the games only released in Japan for some reason i didn't know about them. I am somewhat interested in the two new 3DS ones. They're on my maybe list.

    If you enjoyed this one at all, then the next one will grab you I'm sure. This was just a bit of a warm up game you could say. Just happy to see this old series getting some love.

    I love the series. I've been playing the PS4 game that came out this year. It's a fun fighting game. I'm working my way through Tokyo Rumble right now. I want to beat it before I get this new game.

    my mom may she rest in piece had a import nes and nes usa to play renegade and river city ransom she was a translator for a library so she could read the japenese words i played i think my real taste of kunio series on gba wich was river city ransom ex it was more open world at the time for me and my favorite karma aka rep system forcing you to mix up your moves to teach me no spamming
