Pokemon game on the Switch

It's somewhat old news now that we got a "Core RPG" Pokemon game coming to the Switch, but for now nothing else about the game itself is known. But If you were to guess what do you think the game's gonna be? Some kind of remake? Gen 8? A game similar to the past Pokemon Stadium/Pokemon Battle Revolution or the Shadow Pokemon games? Something else

    Maybe Diamond And Pearl Remakes Because The Remakes In The Past Have Been On Different Consoles

    I don't know, Mostly because All the gens were playable on the 3ds. I think they will remake all gens into something similar or completely new. The Sinnoh game REALLY NEEDS A REMAKE, A switch Sinnoh game would make t perfect to remake it.

    I want Shadow Pokemon. We already have Gen 7 in front of us, so you better enjoy it. And we're getting DPP Remakes eventually, so no need to keep whining about it.

    Depending on how long it takes it'll either be gen 8 or a gen 7 third version, probably gen 8 because I can't see them doing remakes nor do I want them to do remakes, gen 4 is fine the way it is and is also a fine stopping point for remakes since they aren't outdated in terms of Pokemon mechanics and system.

    Whatever it is, its will be pretty hard on fanbase if switch is in such high demand, lets hope by then there will be more players who own switches. i need a switch *Checks life savings and counts $1.27 :‛|

    My guess right now is it's gonna be something similar to Pokemon Gale Of Darkness, though my first thought was Gen 8 on the Switch Nebby might return sooner in Ultra Sun/Moon & maybw it'll start off as a Cosmog again. I love that little Cosmog! Pew! #TeamPew

    There's no need for a Coliseum/Stadium type game, the main games beat those out of the water. Honestly, all we need is a way to plug our 3DS's into the TV.

    @Liz Yeah, it's not like the Colosseum games had any unique gameplay quirks that the main games don't. Oh wait, they did. Well, at least we all know the main games have allowed you to challenge any Gym Leader, Trial Captain, E4 Member, Champion, Rival, or other important characters using your own Pokemon or rental Pokemon. Oh wait, no, they don't.
