    Yes, the Magearna is a literal in-game event that has no actual expiration date. You can still obtain it with a brand new copy of either Sun or Moon as long you QR Scan it's Dex Entry QR Code. That being said you're free to still trade it but I would not expect "Shinies" or Mythical Pokemon like Mew and Celebi.
