battle tree is rigged

i have been doing the tree for a while and found that no matter what team combination you use the computer will always counter you no matter what hopefully the ultra versions of sun and moon will fix some of this and bring back move tutors.

    Well I mean it's hard but not Impossible You just gotta be like a competitive player even though your battling NPC's you gotta expect moves real people would make in real competitive battling Well that's my opionion at least

    The RNG is in their favour, but their AI is absolutely horrid. One of the more broken things to use there is Substitute or Tapu Fini as a shortcut. Status seems to be the source of the problem mainly and if bypassed, the AI will often continue to use said Status to no avail. So stuff like Swagger under Misty Terrain actually helps you, plus it ends Resto-Chesto strategies if used correctly.

    But Substitute's better in most cases, as it lets you re-roll odds against you such as the Walrein of pein™ (the ohko thing) and again protects you from Status. Plus it can shield you from the incoming Pokémon too.

    Also, it is rigged. Those who think otherwise probably don't know the definition. They constantly throw perfect matchups against you and have improved odds with their Pokémon. Sometimes they even log what attacks you use and act accordingly (although maybe they stopped that back in Gen V). That is not an even playing field.
