Question

Shiny Luck?

I've always been curious how most people get their shinies. For whatever reason, I seem to always have significantly better luck with SOS Chaining than with Masuda Method. I've tried it numerous times, but the eggs keep hatching and no shiny. Meanwhile, I've gotten shinies by near accident when I do SOS. Is it like this for anyone else or is it the other way around for some people?
