    不具合の修正をしたり、新しいモードやイベントを追加した新版をアップロードする際にチェックするものですね。 プレイする側としてはデータの引継ができないので「更新版を最初から」になります。 親切かどうかは怪しい((

    更新した後、続きからプレイができるんですよ(すこし関係ないかもしれませんが・・・)更新する前のデータの半分くらいいったところでパスワードを教えてくれる人を作って、更新した後でパスワードを入力できるところを作れば途中からできます。
