    I don't think that spoiler can be only story-wise, but rather it is experience-wise; i mean, if there is an amazing event in the ending, you are spoiling it before others completed the game to see it themselves.

    Well, i got surprised, and even with that much time "we" had, each person does have a different experience; i just can't beat Peach's Castle Tournament to get the ending. There are other guys around this world that doesn't even know that Mario Golf exists.
