Well, she comes from a cross over title. And her bio gives little info to her character. It mainly states that she's a time traveler gunning for bison's powers. But besides that, little else is known of her. she only ever appeared in 2 games.

And truth be told, I never play Ingrid in the cross over game, so besides Alpha3, I know little of her. I do know that she was one of Ono's first designs before making sf4.

I guess it would've helped if I had remembered that INGRID has silver hair... Anyway, did you know that INGRID is both the shortest (5') & lightest (86 lbs) playable character in SF to date!? I would say she's more than a bit complicated considering she was originally designed for a cancelled game & her only main series appearance was the non-canon PSP exclusive "Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX".

"Ingrid's Capcom Fighters Network character profile disregards her story from Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, amending her backstory to be more in line with how she was originally going to be portrayed in Capcom Fighting All-Stars." Isn't that cool!?

I also wanted to commend you on your excellent taste in characters!!! When my brother & I first played Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers on Wii, my first character (I think) was CHUN-LI & his was GUILE!! Naturally they became our favorites & I thought it was so cool when I found out that our characters were good friends & allies!!

Coincidentally, my mains are both Chun-li & Guile. Guile was the first character I picked up and not too soon, Chunli. What made matters better, both are indeed friends. And work together. So seeing 2 of my most favorite fighters team together is pretty kewl. :)

When we got Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition with our 3DS systems, I once again started with Chun-li but eventually found that Cammy was favorite fighter in that game!! Chun-li, Guile & Cammy: Friends in Justice!!! :p In Street Fighter V I grew to like Ryu & Ken more than I ever had before & also found that I liked using Karin. My Favorite Four: Chun-li, Ken, Cammy & Ryu.

Yeah, I enjoyed SF4. And I'm sure it may surprise you a bit, but I was kinda bummed with SFV. It wasnt a very good 1st year for me on the game. ^^' Especially how it retconned some events. But I did like some of the story elements. Chunli's solo story is one of my faves. :)

Choosing a top 5 is hard, but if I had, I think it be: Chun-li Guile Cammy Alex Juri

@James I apologize for leaving this conversation unfinished for so long. I saw online that there were a lot of fans that were disappointed by SFV for many reasons. I'm not sure if my brother & I ever decided on why, but we had more fun playing against each other in SFV than we've had with any other SF! :) On the other hand, the ARCADE MODE's absence is felt heavily when one of us can't play. :(

The main issue with the game is that it was released in a hurry. When it launched, it only had survival mode. And online wasn't event functional at the time. Half a year later, the game finally had enough content to warrant a purchase, but by that time, most players left the game. It was just a poorly rushed games with dlc attatched. And sadly, MvCi doesn't look any better.

We're SF4 felt like a game dedicated to bringing back the glory of Street Fighter of old, SFV just felt like a cash grab. SFV is more of a tool for its eSports then a game. Year 2 of sfv is nearly finished, and we yet to see a new mode. But we had another beta test...after the game was launched. That's how rushed he game is.

Sorry about my little rant. SFV was just the biggest disappointment for me of this generation. The game had so much potential, but now it feels just like a rip off. The game looks good, and plays well, but everything else just felt so hollow compared to sf4.

We've been taking a break from SFV in order to focus more on the Resident Evil games that we started playing & replaying before SFV. I was slowly playing through the single-player/online content, having fun trying to balance my characters while working towards Trophies & Daily Challenges & trying to pick the best character for each Trophy.

With re5 and maybe 6, I think it's better to have 2 players then 1. From experience, at least with 5, your AI partner isn't to bright. They'll waist your ammo and healing items before you know it. me and my brother got every achievement in re5 by working together. After doing so, we didn't even bother with single player after realizing sheeva used our herbs every time she scraped her knee.:o

(Started at 1:55 P.M CDT) I totally agree. SFV feels like it was meant to be, & like some of the designers wanted it to be, so much more! It's a real shame too, because SFV does so many things so well! It's well balanced, it controls so smoothly, it's got the best music since SFII (better imo) & (while definitely not perfect) the graphics are beautiful & really bring the fighters to life! TBC...
