    It depends, if you have important pokemon in your save files, ex. shinys,legandarys, and ect. I would find a way to keep them safe then reset your game.... soooo sure

    unless i can use poke bank i cant save any pokemon i could trade you some pokemon i have a ton of phione eggs and two i got from trade but after i erase my game do you think i could get one of the phiones back i want to use one on my next adventure
