    *Sonic Expert Mode Activate* Actually, Sonic could wall jump since Sonic-Unleashed in 2008. (Not counting the Numbered panels from Sonic Adventure 1999.)

    Although, Mario started wall-jumping in Super Mario 64 back in 1996. And the already mentioned precursor to the wall jump for Sonic (The Numbered Panels) were invented for Sonic Adventure in 1999. 3 years AFTER Super Mario 64. (But Megaman X started wall jumping since 1993 & Samus from Metroid started in 1994 And both of them only need ONE WALL!!!)
