Thinking they can take down Team Eclipse. First of all, the leader can't even spell his team name. Second, Eclipse is a peaceful and nice breeding group. Why would you want to defeat us?

    I consider myself neutral in this but umm, question. Why would you need/want to battle in SD if you are from a clan of breeders? Shouldn't you have all the pokemon you need in game and not have a need for a simulator? And if you are boosting about have lots of pokemon ready to battle in game then wouldn't using SD level the playing field getting rid of your advantage?

    @Chimera, some Pokemon we don't have altogether and battling on Showdown is generally better for us since we might have a legend or two which we don't have in-game on a team there. Plus, there are many Pokemon whose sets can differ quite a lot depending on what team it's in, especially the Pixie Mythicals (Mew, Jirachi and Manaphy being some) and they can't be bred into another mythical Pokemon.

    (ct.) Yes and no to the playing field situation. Sure, they may be able to get the Pokemon, but they won't have any experience with that Pokemon. For example, they might have a Mega Mawile on their team but, because they haven't bred or used it in battles, they won't know what to do with it. Someone could set up under their nose while Mawile spams Sucker Punch waiting for an attack.

    (ct. and last post for the convo) Players who breed and have used the Pokemon both in-game and not in-game will have a better understanding of using it. Even while EV Training. It gives you more time to think of Pokemon which can counter it. Then you can get a move which counters said Pokemon. You could even be EV Training against the counter. So EV Training can be used greatly.
