@celeste they aren't japanese words, they're the words ''wife'' and ''husband'' written as if they were japanese words waifu and husbando are made up words that mean ''a fictional character you treat as if in a relationship with''

If i remember right, lana is the water captain, and when you go into her house and play with her sisters, after you then battle lana for some reason her expression & stuff just reminded me of my interpretation of waifu-ness
