Things I think are cool about the story: Everything is happening in the perspective of Fox McCloud, and you're taking in the story as if you were him. You never have outside knowledge of events. The intro is SF64 and Fox recounts the events that were passed down by Peppy (previously, fox did not). This intro actually plays a great role at the end of the game... and this perspective as well.

used the technology for his own means. James was also responsible for sealing andross in another dimension, and it couldn't have been done without him. Originally, Fox was told: James was investigating strange activity on Venom, he was ambushed and died making a distraction so Peppy could escape. At this point, you realize Peppy lied to Fox from the beginning, but why?

As you fight Andross, Andross will question your blind allegiance to General Pepper. At this point, it does make you wonder why Peppy and Pepper lied to you. Once Andross is defeated, he'll chase you and suggest he's still alive elsewhere. James pops up out of nowhere and causes a distraction so Fox can escape. This also suggests James is alive too, since pepper never claimed he died.

other side notes: I liked the new revelation that Wolf is older than Fox. Wolf announces he's fought james before. I never knew this about Wolf previously. Katt is pretty much the same, questionably good or bad. Bill: The surfer dude that happens to fly a plane.

Bottom line: This is the first Star Fox story in the series I could actually follow whats happening in game. There's a lot to use for the future too. I can't fathom the time traveling pieces, but maybe a sequel will explain why.

Zero's story is amazing:) It would be neat if they would make some sort of sequel or something to explain what happened after the ending in Zero.
