Not much of a reward, but it's something. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I played Robobot and Dee gave me an item, I picked it up and took the time to do a few "Thank you!" jumps. Even in time trial mode.

Waddle Dee is our underrated hero, for sure. As if I haven't given you enough reasons to play RtDL already, I would like to point out that you can also play as Waddle Dee ;-)

He's great! Just think about how he gets to every place, no matter how dangerous, to help you out in Robobot. How can you NOT give him "Thank you!" jumps? XD Trust me, you don't have to convince me to get Nintendo games lol once I'm interested in something, I check out all entries, period. Unless an entry's definitely bad, but I've only seen that in Harvest Moon (which isn't made by Nintendo)

Bandana Dee's also playable in Rainbow Paintbrush(/Curse - because U.S. Kirby is angry and hardcore :X ), albeit only in co-op. But in that game all additional players get to play as instances of him ^^ For me RtDL would be a matter of "Kirby or Meta Knight", though XD I love both of them~ but Kirby'd have a higher priority.

With RtDL, it would be hard for me to play very long as anyone but Kirby because I would miss the Copy ability. Meta Knight and Waddle Dee do make great support characters though. Also, everyone can play as a different colored Kirby if they want to, which is nice. Love that game.

That's interesting that Rainbow Curse is Rainbow Paintbrush elsewhere. I have seen where they try to make Kirby look angry here in the States. Not sure what that's all about. My favorite kind of Kirby is fluffy Kirby xD

Somehow they're afraid a game about a happy, pink puffball wouldn't catch on as well (cultural stuff; e. g. pink's a neutral colour in Japan compared to the west, but changing things to "Curse" for dramatic effect is a very U.S. thing to do. I'm afraid it's not the only example ^^' also Kirby's not angry on box arts elsewhere) As for PAL it's mostly neutral/in-between (and no "Curse" game titles)

While it might strike folks like us as silly, it's no bad marketing decision per se considering the mainstream social consensus. If you buy a happy, pink, (seemingly) child-like game as an adult in the west, people could laugh as they wouldn't take it seriously ("But it's for kids/girls!"). ... which is why I hide certain games from visitors as no matter how well you explain, they won't listen :X

It's odd, because in advertisements here, it's the Rainbow Curse, but in stores it's the Rainbow Paintbrush. Weird.

Seriously? That's wild! I knew your country often uses PAL names, but using NTSC titles in advertisements sounds like it could cause some confusion... especially in cases like "Power Paintbrush" vs. "Canvas Curse"

Because we often just take American commercials for games, movies and other media. We have a lot of American and British TV.

Interesting... they could at least go for the U. K. version or replace the game's shot with the respective box. Now you got me curious. Which country's shows tend to be more popular, if you can say anything regarding that? ^^ and do you get those health/workplace safety PSA advertisements? I know England has several of those and they can be quite traumatising.

American TV. Though ABC often shows British programs more, and SBS shows more European shows in general. Yes. Not that terrifying, though. Just a hand cut off here and there.
