Drawing an eye level is pretty easy, it's just a horizontal line across the canvas, but knowing where to place it and why, can be difficult. If you are doing something with more than one vanishing point, I like to make sure the vanishing point is pretty far from the picture plane. This gives a more natural convergence which generally looks better.

Another way to practice perspective is to first try to draw a scene with isometric view. Then just imagine the far ends of the isometric view grid getting pinched together, creating convergence and therefore sense of perspective. I only know really basic perspective concepts, for anything advanced I would recommend buying a book on perspective, there are some good ones out there. :)

the base figure is so smol i only wanna draw that now and not the actual dragon XDD also thank you for this tutorial! ^^ the scales really help me out :3

dude thats cool but the gamepad screen is way too smooth so i cant draw correctly are there any solutions for this?

@Robbie : Hmm, yes the gamepad screen can be quite difficult to draw on. I don't really know if there's any special solution... Maybe other artists know something, but I just use it as is. I think after drawing 100 or so drawings I just got used to it. Sorry I can't be much of a help Robbie! :< @Quinn : Thank you very much Quinn! I appreciate the kind words. :)
