Haha, see? Did you see what Splatoon 2 has instead of Miiverse? Would any of you like to apologize for getting so raged when I told you the Switch was replacing Miiverse with something better? Haha...

I'm not "looking for a fight", sheesh, just chill. I'm just talking about how what I said was going to happen DID happen. Some of you denied that miiverse would be gone, and I told you it would be replaced, and it was.

The Switch in general uses a system that allows you to easily post screenshots to facebook or twitter, so that ALL your friends can see it, not just those who also have a Nintendo system. Some said that Miiverse was necessary for things like Splatoon. But, in Splat2, there is an easy way to make posts, and they appear in the square, AND on social media with the Splatoon 2 hashtag or something.

See? Instead of making their own wierd social media site that didnt work right, they let us connect to the ones that already work, and that we already use.

The thing is, this site is specifically for gaming. I don't have that many friends who play video games in real life, this site is to discuss video game opinions and connect with people who you otherwise wouldn't be able to communicate with.

Then just search for posts with the hashtag "Nintendo Switch" or "Splatoon 2". Or go find specific groups. Or find forums online. There are countless better ways to do that than miiverse.

Forums are the best way to do that, being a lot more concentrated on gaming and frequently posting than social media. The character tweet limit severely limits discussion options for Twitter, while Instagram is also obviously limited just by its formatting priorities. I've never tried Facebook though.

Forums are good, and I've talked on several, but I have to say Miiverse is still my favorite. If you don't agree, that's fine, but in my experience Miiverse's play journal entries allowed for a great blend of visual/pictures with verbal discussion, which other forums either simply don't have, or have s much rougher system (IGN, where you have to actually look up images on the internet, you can't

literally post whatever you see on your video game screen). While the communities posted, for me, at a great frequency. More often than most boards, like IGN, Giantbomb, Gamestop, etc, while posts didn't go by so fast like Gamefaqs and Neogaf that individual posts in a discussion could be easily looked/brushed over.

The Switch's screenshot button should make that easier. Also, try facebook. That sounds like it would work the best for what you want to do.

Huh, that IS a better system. I would like to keep track of people tho, but thats great. The only other problem is the privacy of common social media. If I had a switch, I would use forums. Those sound good. That bit about you looking for a fight. I'm sorry. But to be brutally honest, it looks like your you're being obnoxious to people who didn't agree with you.

I'm being real and straight to the point. If some people can't handle that without getting dramatic or angry, then that's their problem.

But yeah, forums shouldnt be that hard. Especially since the people there are the most likely to actually talk about the game. But I think there are some facebook groups and community pages that might work fairly well too.

Lol, sorry, I just got a kick out of it. A couple months ago, there were people arguing with me who were CERTAIN they were right about miiverse being on the Switch. I just found that funny how exactly what I told them is exactly what actually happened.
