If I interpret the scroll correctly, yes. It shows Pearl singing her heart out and a speaker that evidently blew up. Seems to me like that shock wave was CAUSED by Pearl

@Bessie Yeah, the scroll doesn't say how well she did. But the fact that they chose to show a busted speaker gives me a strong impression that Pearl's singing was the cause. Kinda like if there was a scroll that showed a broken mirror at a beauty contest that DJ Octavio entered. That that I think Pearl is in any way an inferior performer. Her stage personality is second to none.

I've been doing a lot more Hero Mode than Turf Wars and I'm only on Lv 4 right now. All I got's the Splattershot Jr and Splat Charger. Man, I swear that Sting Ray's been nerfed since the testfire... ... But in Hero mode I've also got the Hero Splatling and I'm all over that Hero Brella! (Need to work on my timing, though)

They even added the Hero Brella?! Cool! I'm hoping at least the Brella and Dualies might become my main weapons for Splatoon 2, but I'll be trying out every weapon class! Even Chargers! But at least there are a few redeeming dialogue. "♪Faces blush, a rush of ink!♪ ♪Bombs explode, no time to think!♪" "The world's reflected in our songs!" Oh yeah. I got the idea it's painted on though. Not a tattoo. Tatoos are ink, I'd imagine giving an Inkling a tattoo, especially one that big, would splat them. I only wish I could get a better view of Callie during that fight.

I'm just disappointed that we go through all that trouble to rescue Callie, who only gets 10 minutes of screentime at best, only to not have her be anywhere in Octo Canyon afterwards. All we get is a news report and credits. Mo thank you, not heartfelt moment between Callie and Marie, no nothing!

Yeah that's totally sad. At least it unlocks the Squid Sisters amiibo functionality. I now have pictures of my Inkling and Callie together, which is a slight consolation. But I agree. I want to approach her. I want to talk to her. I want to gawk at her awkwardly. I can only hope there's an update that lets you do do something with her (cntd)

Yeah, but at least Splatoon 1's doesn't ruin the feel of the battle. Splatoon 2 has that special meaning that just disappears with the new dialogue because it's just Callie making an absolute squid up that makes her look more… Uneducated! Sure, there are some funny dialogue, but the representation of Callie is just… AAAARRGH!!
