So..., who has the switch? I've been thinking about maybe getting one (In a year or 2) and I'd like to know what people think about it. I'm hearing (so far) very mixed results. Some say its great, some say its not very reliable. So, what do you think about it?

    I'm currently saving up for an ipod 6 and a N2DSXL. I'll probably have them both by my birthday (October) so MAYBE a switch by Christmas.

    I have one. I personally love it! The Menus are very easy to navigate, the buttons on the joycons feel pretty responsive. And despite what everyone says, its about the same size as an iPad. So yes, its portable.

    What's the deal with the control-thingies that you slide onto the screen part? (No idea what they are called) Do they function as controllers on TV mode?

    The switch comes with a handle that you can put the Joycons in. So they act like a normal controller in Tv mode.

    They're called joy cons, and I dunno if it has a TV mode. And I agree with Ben, my friend got one and I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with him, and now I just love it even more. I thought two player was going to be like using Wii Remotes, but luckily you have these straps or whatever they are on them for ZL and ZR.

    And to go back to handheld mode. Just slide them into the dock, and pull the tablet out.

    Yeah, the kickstand seems sturdy if you aren't on a bumpy car ride and it's on a flat surface. I can't wait to get one and give my siblings a joy con so we can play.

    I'm pretty good about not dropping Nintendo systems it seems, I've never dropped my N3DSXL even once since I got it roughly a year ago. Thanks for your input.
