    i really can't say that i hated them but i'm actually really glad they took out hm so i don't have to crowd my pokemons moveset with them.

    Well, I think Fly and Surf would have gotten the most use, and they also returned as TM moves that you could forget at any time. So it wouldn't be that bad compared to past regions.

    Surf and Fly were actually good moves, I agree. But the others like rock smash and cut were a waste of a move slot.

    I think if they wanted to, they could have made Fly or Surf useable outside battle. It would be more like Dig in the older games, which was a TM but still had outside of battle effects.

    What I really hate is the long animation for Charizard Gliding("Flying") to another town, and cutscenes in the story.
