    Personally I don't like this game as much as critics acclaim it to be. I find that people tend to look at it with nostalga glasses. THIS IS IN NO WAY AN ATTACK ON THOSE WHO LIKE THE GAME, I JUST THINK PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE NO GAME IS PERFECT AND THIS GAME IS NO EXCEPTION

    You're right, bcuz there's more development on the titles that followed it; but still on its simplicity is really good, bcuz puts classic and easy gameplay and plot, not to mention the enjoyable music that was the base of many other compositions in the next games. Not for nothing got the title of the best game of 1998. Oot Still has an especial place on my heart.

    And to be honest, Botw is actually pretty overrated, at least in plot terms, bcuz it is short and hollow mostly because THEY KILLED THE CHAMPIONS when they were presented as "companions" previous to the release; they overfocused a with the survivalist thing. Big disappointment. Not to mention the ending is a bit dull for my taste, but being a world in ruins I think there's not much to do about it.

    This was the game that started my love for "modern" systems. It's not perfect, but no game is. This game combined the nostalgia of the original NES Zelda with the newer system. It expanded on the storyline while still finding a way to stay true to it's roots. This game is still a favorite of mine, even though I can finish the whole game in a few hours now.

    much like a link to the past the game is very easy and short once you memorized the temples (in alttp it was the ice temple for me, with oot it was the imfamous water temple)

    I do really like the game since it is very nostalgic for me and was the game that got me into the franchise. But, when I started playing other Zelda games like TP, I realized it is not the best one. I feel like BotW is a very good game just because it really lets you explore, which other games never have done before. Also while playing other games, I realized how predicting the storyline can be.

    Almost every storyline is the worlds in trouble..gotta go see Zelda... three dungeons. uh oh! bad guy is back and he did bad stuff..three more dungeons and more bad stuff from bad guy..kill him..save world.

    and thats why I like skyward sword as my favorite 3d zelda game because the game wasnt 3 dungeons, master sword, 7 dungeons, you actually make the master sword which I think is really cool
