    @Jose: Atticus fought against humans marching into his homeworld and capturing or destroying everything. Because the best weapon technology his world has is a sword and sheild, he has had to charge into machinegun armor with nothing but that. Statistically, only 1 in 10 non-human soldiers was expected to live.

    So, Atticus has to live with nightmares about the war, night terrors, flashbacks, and very bad PTSD now. He sometimes gets triggered just by seeing a gun, hearing a loud noise, or seeing a human soldier.

    Yeah, well... His sister supports him as best she can. She fought along side him, though she only fought for about two months, where Atticus fought for four years, so she doesn't really have the mental stress he does. Girls typically don't go for Atticus, because appearently no one wants someone with issues, no matter how nice they are.
