Which game should I get?

Should I get Dragon Quest VIII or VII? Or should I wait for XI to be localized? (I have a Switch)

    7's much longer and the characters are better. It's known as being slow paced and some of the towns are forgettable. It does have a fun class system though, with more ways to branch out than 8.8's a fan favorite and a lot of people's first DQ game. It's like 9 with the skill point branching. It's more difficult than 7 and is much darker. (Think TP to OoT) I honestly prefer 7 to 8.
