For every 5 people you meet in game you get a gem so by taking 2000 steps [or just shaking it 2000 times] you can get... ONLY 10 GEMS

Sorry I ment 20000 times and as long as parrental controls doesn't block internet [and your on miiverse] you can do it.

Too bad anyways you can only get 1000 steps before the 3ds blocks you from getting any more play coins for the day so unless you can connect to the internet and take 1000 steps/shake a day [with your 3DS on you] this is far from easy.
