Pigma may of had his hand in developing the Arwing before he turned on everyone. He seems like a likely candidate. Also, he probably wasn't all that evil to start out. Andross bribed him with money and Pigma loves money. And, Pigma may have not been responsible in James's death, he just leaves, thinking that James probably died, which could be why James seems to be alive when you face Andross.

    Look at it this why, you don't hear that Pigma personally killed Fox's father, only that he betrayed him for monetary gain. Pigma probably had a good heart, but let his love of money blind him. I think Pigma is probably the mechanic on Star Wolf, but thats just a theory. Pigma just wants his money, which is why he looks for jobs to be done for Andross.

    well, he values the money more than his friends, even Star Wolf kicked him out of the team because he could not be trusted. I'd say he's evil for betraying his friends just for monetary gains. Well, that's only my opinion.

    I think it's safe to say Pigma is the 'Slippy' of Star Wolf, especially in this canon. In Star Fox Guard he's behind the rival mining company trying to steal resources from Corneria Precious Metals. He even designed at least a good few of the robots, and has his own special mech, Infernal Joker.
