ここでは、オウムのスコークスが暗くなった部屋を明るく照らします。SFC(スーパードンキーコング)でも同じ事をしてくれます。ちなみにSFC版だと暗くても目をこらしてみたら、うっすらとですがコースが見えるのですが、ここでは本当に何も見えません。なので助かります。

2のくらやみダイビングも同様。目が痛い... しかも2だとボーナスに加えDKコインも探さないといけないわけで.....　ステージのプレイ時間と目の疲れが正比例。
