The Ganon fight overall reminds me a lot of the final boss in the original Metroid prime, as a matter of fact they're almost identical. For starters both bosses hang from the celling, both assume a spider form first (which is the most challenging part) and the 2nd form is merely a formality because you are given an OP weapon to finish them off.
