Imagine if Darknuts had been a regular enemy patroling the upper floors of Hyrule Castle, armed as you see here. Then imagine they had Link's attack speed (i.e. his flurry rush) and his ability to parry. Forget Dark Link, Guardians, /and/ Lynels. A Darknut like that would've made all of them seem like goombas.
